Women in Wales 31st Anniversary Charity Luncheon
Date:
Friday 24th of April 2026
Location:
Holland House, Cardiff
An unmissable date for both the corporate and social calendar, the Women in Wales 2026 Fundraising Lunch promises an afternoon of celebration, connection and unforgettable entertainment, all in support of two exceptional causes.
We are delighted to welcome Georgina Grasso, winner of The Great British Bake Off 2024, as our guest speaker. Loved for her heartfelt, home-style baking inspired by family, heritage and bold flavours, Georgina will share her inspiring Bake Off journey, from rediscovering her confidence and passion to embracing authenticity and self-belief. Her story is a powerful reminder that when you stay true to who you are, anything is possible.
Guests will be welcomed with a sparkling glass at our elegant drinks reception, setting the tone for a vibrant and uplifting afternoon, hosted by the wonderful Ruth Dodsworth, OBE, whose warmth and professionalism will guide us through the day. This will be followed by a sumptuous three-course lunch, alongside a fabulous live performance from Han & Fran, best known for reaching the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
The event has been thoughtfully designed to offer the perfect balance of relaxation, networking and celebration, whether you are entertaining clients, connecting with colleagues or enjoying a memorable afternoon with friends.
True to form, we don’t do fundraising by halves. The day will feature an exciting live auction, a silent auction and an outstanding selection of raffle prizes, all created to maximise both enjoyment and impact. Card and cash payments will be accepted throughout, making it easy for everyone to take part.
All profits from the 2026 luncheon will be donated to our chosen charities: Wales Air Ambulance Charity (Baby Pods Infrastructure Project), providing life-saving transport for critically ill babies, and Carmarthenshire Youth Project, supporting and empowering young people across our local communities. By attending, you will be helping to raise vital funds and awareness for these incredible organisations, while enjoying an exceptional afternoon in inspiring company.
We look forward to welcoming you and your guests. Book your tickets now below!
Our Chosen Charities
For our 2026 event, Women in Wales is proud to support two impactful charities making a real difference to lives across our communities. The Welsh Air Ambulance Charity (Baby Pods Project) delivers lifesaving advanced medical care across Wales 24/7, providing critically ill and premature babies with a safe, warm and medically equipped environment during emergency air transfers. We are fundraising to support the vital infrastructure needed to operate these Babypods, ensuring the youngest patients receive urgent treatment when it matters most. Alongside this, we are supporting the Carmarthenshire Youth Project, a vital local charity that engages and empowers young people through free, year-round activities that promote personal development, skills, wellbeing and community connection in an area facing poverty and rural isolation. By supporting these charities, we aim to help protect the most vulnerable at the very start of life, while also investing in brighter futures for young people across Wales.
