Our Chosen Charities
For our 2026 event, Women in Wales is proud to support two impactful charities making a real difference to lives across our communities. The Welsh Air Ambulance Charity (Baby Pods Project) delivers lifesaving advanced medical care across Wales 24/7, providing critically ill and premature babies with a safe, warm and medically equipped environment during emergency air transfers. We are fundraising to support the vital infrastructure needed to operate these Babypods, ensuring the youngest patients receive urgent treatment when it matters most. Alongside this, we are supporting the Carmarthenshire Youth Project, a vital local charity that engages and empowers young people through free, year-round activities that promote personal development, skills, wellbeing and community connection in an area facing poverty and rural isolation. By supporting these charities, we aim to help protect the most vulnerable at the very start of life, while also investing in brighter futures for young people across Wales.
