Women in Wales is a registered charity
Founded over 30 years ago with the objective; to raise funds with an overriding aim to support charities and projects providing help to children in Wales. Since its inception, we have raised over £1 Million.
The Trustees of Women in Wales retain total discretion regarding the application of funds and will continue to stipulate how funds should be used by recipients. They may decide to allocate all funds raised in a financial year to one recipient or to several recipients, depending on satisfaction of the criteria for receiving support.
If your organisation would like to apply for a grant, please refer to the Grant Making Policy and complete and return the Grant Aid Request Form. All applications will be considered on an annual basis with the closing date for applications being 31 October.
The next closing date to apply for a grant from the funds raised at the 2025 Lunch will be 31 October 2024.
Women in Wales Charity Donated more than £125,000 to Wales Children’s Projects since relaunching post-Covid.
Raising vital funds for Welsh children’s charities remains at the heart of why individuals and businesses continue to be so generous in their support, and why the committee remains committed to running the luncheon each year. In 2026, the trustees were able to provide significantly more funding to the two chosen charities than was initially promised, donating over £24,000 at a time when such support was needed most.
