The prestigious Women in Wales charity luncheon returned in 2025 for its fourth consecutive year since relaunching post-Covid in 2022. Since then, the event has raised well over £100,000 in total for its chosen Welsh children’s charities.

The event featured the popular Hidden Gem Raffle generously sponsored by Laings Jewellery, alongside the table raffle, for which the wonderful Katherine Jenkins kindly donated Cygnet Gin as a prize for every table. These accompanied the tradition raffle, silent auction, and renowned live auction, hosted by Rupert Moon, who took over the reins and brought both emotion and energy to an unforgettable day.

Guests were treated to a live Q&A session with Charlotte Rees, who joined host Sian Lloyd on stage, capturing the attention of the audience with her natural charisma and incredible stories from her time as co-owner of Fly Wales.

The board were delighted to present the chosen charities with the donations of £1,500 to Brass at Bont, £9,000 to Bullies Out, £9,000 to Cerebral Palsy Cymru and £5,000 Credu. £1,000 was donated to MPCT in recognition for their help on the day. The formal cheque presentation took place at a drink’s reception hosted by Porsche Centre Newport.
