The prestigious Women in Wales Charity luncheon events have raised over £100,000 since relaunching post-covid and over a million pounds for their chosen charities since its inception in 1994.

This year’s Luncheon saw more women than ever gather at Holland House in Cardiff for a sold-out event that raised over £20,000 for four incredible charities. Fundraising activities were, in true Women in Wales fashion, nothing short of spectacular — with a Live Auction, Silent Auction, and traditional raffles joined by two exciting new additions. The Hidden Gem Raffle, generously sponsored by Laings Jewellers, was a hit with guests, while the Table Raffle delighted attendees, thanks to the wonderful Katherine Jenkins, who kindly donated Cygnet Gin as a prize for every table.
The Porsche driving experiences were hotly contested during the Live Auction, as the reigns were passed to Rupert Moon this year, who captivated the entire room with his energy and passion for the event. In addition to the fundraising, Charlotte Rees joined Sian Lloyd, our host, on stage for a live Q&A session. She truly captured the attention of guests with her natural charisma and remarkable stories from her time as co-owner of Fly Wales. The event concluded with a performance from the incredible Wynne Evans, following earlier music by Lucy J. Morgan & The Welsh Pops Quartet.
The event was kindly supported by JCP Solicitors, LHP, Bluestone, Blue Tiger, Lyons Bowe Solicitors, Porsche Centre Newport, ClearTech Live, Stills, and Grapevine Event Management. Cygnet Gin and Laings Jewellers who also generously sponsored our raffles.
The board were delighted to present the chosen charities with the donations of £1,500 to Brass at Bont, £9,000 to Bullies Out, £9,000 to Cerebral Palsy Cymru and £5,000 Credu. £1,000 was donated to MPCT in recognition for their help on the day. The formal cheque presentation took place at a drink’s reception hosted by Porsche Centre Newport.
Judith, Chair of Women in Wales said “We’re truly humbled by the incredible generosity shown by our guests and supporters once again this year. The success of the event is a testament to the dedication of our committee and the fantastic collaboration with businesses across Wales—coming together to create a day filled with entertainment, connection, and meaningful support for outstanding charities. We can’t wait to see the luncheon continue to grow, and we’re already looking forward to 2026!”
